The Hoodoo Obamanator

Oh, I seen him walking
Plowing down that road
He got a broken white man
With a heavy load
Oh, Lord have mercy
Upon my foolish soul
It is so cold & dark
Behind these eyes of coal

Its the Hoodoo Obamanator
Obamanate

When a tribe teeters on the brink, it finds itself forced into the orbit of the nearest Hoodoo Obamanator, a shamanic trickster with magic wand & fairy dust, one part magician, one part witch doctor, who has the power to step between raindrops & alter the past.

"We have met our responsibility," Obama said. "Now it is time to turn the page."

Here, the Hoodoo Obamanator takes rivers of blood and pallets of lost treasure and alchemically transforms this dross into pyrite nuggets of honorable promises met, and complicity to forget.

"The United States has paid a huge price to give Iraqis the chance to shape their future.

This time the Hoodoo Obamanator sprinkles corpse dust from his gris-gris bag onto an illegal invasion. Slowly the image of this crime wavers, like heat rising from asphalt, slowly beginning to glow with zirconia like nobility.

"Winding down Iraq will allow the United States to apply the resources necessary to go on the offense in Afghanistan."

Using the arcane wisdom of "The Football Cult," whose adherents have mastered the ages old ascetic discipline known as "The Way Of The Fat Drunken Couch Tater," he mutates invader into defender & defender into invader.

"It's well known that he and I disagreed about the war from its outset," Obama said. "Yet no one could doubt President Bush's support for our troops, or his love of country and commitment to our security."

The Hoodoo Obamanator, scrying mirror in hand, calls up the image of the tragic king, now vanished in the mists of history. Muttering outre spells in Enochian double talk,
he remolds & reshapes the vanished king's reign of blood & callous disregard into a myth for our new, well earned tomorrow.

Yikes!

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A resurgence of bedbugs across the U.S. has homeowners and apartment dwellers taking desperate measures to eradicate the tenacious bloodsuckers, with some relying on dangerous outdoor pesticides and fly-by-night exterminators.

The problem has gotten so bad that the Environmental Protection Agency warned this month against the indoor use of chemicals meant for the outside. The agency also warned of an increase in pest control companies and others making "unrealistic promises of effectiveness or low cost."

Bedbugs, infesting U.S. households on a scale unseen in more than a half-century, have become largely resistant to common pesticides. As a result, some homeowners and exterminators are turning to more hazardous chemicals that can harm the central nervous system, irritate the skin and eyes or even cause cancer.

This is pretty scary.
I found this bedbug attempting to crawl into my frilly undergarments just last week.

This one escaped by scurrying around the right side of my bed.

It's enough to give one the night terrors.
I know DDT had its downside, but can we afford to allow this infestation to go on unchecked?

I'm being deadly serious here. A friend of mine found this bedbug attached to his 12 year old's penis.

It escaped before he could kill it & the next day he found this in his amongst his pre-teen's athletic supporters.

Ignore this at your own peril.

And They Wonder Why Aliens Never Say "Take Me To Your Leader." (Redux)

First up, we have Representative Sue Myrick, a Republican from North Carolina who thinks Iranians are learning Spanish in Venezuela so they can pass as Mexicans(?) and cross our borders with ease.

Then we have Congressman Louis Gohmert from Texas, who envisions a future of exploding terrorist babies. Okay, so they won't actually be babies when they blow up, but still, one can't help but wonder about what they use to spike the punch at Republican picnics down there in Chuck Norris country. And that guy was a "Chief Justice?"

This sounds so tediously familiar, doesn't it? Cold War rhetoric updated for 21st century Islamaphobes. Just replace Iran & Venezuela with The Soviet Union & Nicaragua & you get the idea.

Ok, now that I've had my little giggle, I'd like to contrast this immigrant cartoon with a bit of immigrant reality.

First, we have this story:

MEXICO CITY – A wounded migrant stumbled into a military checkpoint and led marines to a gruesome scene, what may be the biggest massacre so far in Mexico's bloody drug war: a room strewn with the bodies of 72 fellow travelers, some piled on top of each other, just 100 miles from their goal, the U.S. border.

The 58 men and 14 women were killed, the migrant told investigators Wednesday, by the Zetas cartel, a group of former Mexican army special forces known to extort migrants who pass through its territory.

If authorities corroborate his story, it would be the most horrifying example yet of the plight of migrants trying to cross a country where drug cartels are increasingly scouting shelters and highways, hoping to extort or even recruit vulnerable immigrants.

"It's absolutely terrible and it demands the condemnation of all of our society," said government security spokesman Alejandro Poire.

The Ecuadorean migrant stumbled to the checkpoint on Tuesday, telling the marines he had just escaped from gunmen at a ranch in San Fernando, a town in the northern state of Tamaulipas about 100 miles from Brownsville, Texas.

The Zetas so brutally control some parts of Tamaulipas that even many Mexicans do not dare to travel on the highways in the states.

Many residents in the state tell of loved ones or friends who have disappeared traveling from one town to the next. Many of these kidnappings are never reported for fear that police are in league with the criminals.

Now, for the sake of reality, a sometimes brutal & bloody Brother's Grimm-like place that's been seriously neutered here in America with the stiletto heel of Uncle Walt's Sleeping Beauty, we're going to "get real."
(If lurid imagery offends you, now's the time to bail)

Below, we have a slew of visual aids to give this lump of drug massacre text a little spice. These images were taken from Blog Del Narco, a web-site supposedly run by "a student in northern Mexico majoring in computer security."
While journalists are shying away from drug related stories, Blog Del Narco, started as a "hobby," now boasts "hundreds of postings a day that average 3 million hits a week."

It's quite easy to see why. The site is the lurid, unedited reality of drug war. There are bloody crime scene photos of shootings sitting side by side with interrogation/murder/decapitation videos. The real question is how a "college hobbyist" could lay his hands on such a large volume of material without the collusion of either the police or the cartels, or maybe both.

The level of violence portrayed on Blog Del Narco is astounding. These are statements etched in meat that are meant to be seen. And feared. I suppose one could call them the quintessential terrorist butchers.

Now, I emphasized this bit from the story above:

The 58 men and 14 women were killed, the migrant told investigators Wednesday, by the Zetas cartel, a group of former Mexican army special forces known to extort migrants who pass through its territory.

because it is so utterly stereotypical.

The Mexican military has a long history of collusion in cartel affairs. According to retired DEA agent Mike Levine, a drug shipment he arranged back in the mid 80s was guaranteed a military escort through Mexico. Unfortunately, Mr. Levine never had a chance to see the Mexican military in action once his cover was blown. Levine insists that, then Attorney General, Edwin Meese, blew his cover.

Oh shit! The US Government colluding with (gasp) drug dealers.

I know. I know. Utterly shocking.

Which brings us to the photos.

Gruesome, eh? Here's eyewitness testimony:

"Rosa had her breasts cut off. Then they cut into her chest and took out her heart. The men had their arms broken, their testicles cut off, and their eyes poked out. They were killed by slitting their throats and pulling the tongue out through the slit."

Shit, my bad. That was eyewitness testimony about the Contras. Although, it all seems so...so...interchangeable, doesn't it?

Oh well, since we've opened that Pandora's Box, let's look a little closer.

But despite the efforts of the White House PR machine, the Contras increasingly appeared to be a particularly ruthless and bloodthirsty bunch. Stories of atrocities against civilian noncombatants certainly didn’t help. In the words of human rights group Americas Watch, "the Contras systematically engage in violent abuses … so prevalent that these may be said to be their principle means of waging war." Another NGO compiled a year’s worth of Contra atrocities, which included murder, rape, torture, maiming children, cutting off arms, cutting out tongues, gouging out eyes, castration, bayoneting pregnant women in the stomach, and amputating genitals.

Since the cartels torture & murder, and the CIA tortures & murders, I suppose their marriage was inevitable. The marriage has been sold to us as one of necessity. The CIA, innocent victims of circumstance, needed to clandestinely support anti-Sandinista forces in Nicaragua once Congress withdrew funding. These limitations restricted the pool of allies from which they had to choose.

In some way, that even sounds believable. The cartels were around long before the Contra War, therefore they had the manpower, the experience, & the connections to move large amounts of secret cargo through Central & South America. In view of the large amounts of anticommunist propaganda disseminated throughout America since the 50s, it's even understandable that the average field agent would believe that communism was a greater threat to America than drugs or drug cartels.

The only thing wrong with this theory is that the facts do not support it.
US actions in Nicaragua were just the last acts in a long running Latin American grand guignol directed by the US government. Guatamala, Chile, El Salvador, etc., may have been painted with a communist brush, but, in most cases, the painting was done in watercolors. Anyone applying a little water could see the rot underneath.

Even before communism reared its ugly head, America was incessantly sticking its nose into Latin America's business. Marine Corp. General Smedley Butler had this to say:

There isn't a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its "finger men" to point out enemies, its "muscle men" to destroy enemies, its "brain men" to plan war preparations, and a "Big Boss" Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism.

It may seem odd for me, a military man to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.

I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it. Like all the members of the military profession, I never had a thought of my own until I left the service. My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military service.

I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912 (where have I heard that name before?). I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916.

US corporations have a long history of confiscating the resources of Latin America. Under US installed regimes they found a climate favoring plunder & corruption. I can think of no Latin American dictator who ended up broke at the end of his tenure as US puppet. Anti-communism was just another excuse in a long line of excuses.

The U.S. was so afraid of being infected with Communism that it didn't notice that it was being infected with anti-Communism.

I think this describes the American people quite nicely. It just fails to address the dichotomy between the leaders & the led when using the term "U.S." One created the fear, while the other just consumed it. The lead ups to both Iraq & Afghanistan demonstrate that little has changed here in the land of the free.

The only real difference I can see between Butler's day & the US's Cold War antics is that, in Butler's day, the US had the courtesy to send their own military as enforcers. Post World War 2 excursions into Latin America were done primarily by proxy.
The C.I.A. provided training while the US tax payer provided copious funding. All the client state had to provide were the thugs.

As this short bit shows, training had little to do with either freedom or democracy.

I like to think of this time as the Disneyfication of America. Much like Uncle Walt's shiny Main Street USA

hides Disney's authoritarian labor practices & its co-opting of childhood innocence in the name of greed, the US continually hides its black little heart behind a shiny coating of patriotic small town righteousness.

For instance, Reagan's championing of the Contras as "freedom fighters" & "the moral equivalent of our founding fathers" led to campaigns such as this one:

where folk were encouraged to adopt a Contra with their spare change. & this lovely game from Nintendo:

In it, you become "a Contra" fighting aliens known as "Red Falcons." Two of the primary game characters are Sylvester Stallone & Arnold Schwarzenegger knock offs who defend the Earth against the evil "Red Menace." &, if this isn't blatant enough, the games ending theme was entitled "Sandanista."

Let's momentarily stop to think about this.
You take this kid:

and sell him a sanitized fantasy version of this:

"In the words of human rights group Americas Watch, ‘the Contras systematically engage in violent abuses … so prevalent that these may be said to be their principle means of waging war.’ Another NGO compiled a year’s worth of Contra atrocities, which included murder, rape, torture, maiming children, cutting off arms, cutting out tongues, gouging out eyes, castration, bayoneting pregnant women in the stomach, and amputating genitals.”

Tra loo, tra lay, eh?

"
Animation as a form of historical memory has entered real space. After all, any space or film that uses manipulated, interactive imagery must be called, by definition, a form of animation; and we are increasingly being submerged in life as a video game, even while our political crises deepen, and our class difference widens...We act out stories inside cartoons now."
Norman M. Klein

Mr. Klein neglected to point out that the cartoons are written by sociopaths.

As the "shock & awe" nature of the opening news article shows, as it emphasizes the escalating brutality of the drug cartels while leaving out the glaring fact that we were there first & we did it better than these crime lord wanna-bes, Neglect 101 seems to be a prerequisite for most modern journalism degrees. Most, but not all.

From Robert Parry:

Reagan portrayed the bloody conflicts as a necessary front in the Cold War, but the Central American violence was always more about entrenched ruling elites determined to retain their privileges against impoverished peasants, including descendants of the region’s Maya Indians, seeking social, political and economic reforms.

One of the most notorious acts of brutality occurred in December 1981 in and around the Salvadoran town of El Mozote. The government’s Atlacatl Battalion – freshly trained and newly armed thanks to Reagan’s hard-line policies – systematically slaughtered hundreds of men, women and children.

When the atrocity was revealed by reporters at the New York Times and the Washington Post, the Reagan administration showed off its new strategy of “perception management,” denying the facts and challenging the integrity of the journalists.

Because of that P.R. offensive, the reality about the El Mozote massacre remained in doubt for almost a decade until the war ended and a United Nations forensic team dug up hundreds of skeletons, including many little ones of children.

Now that's how you stage a massacre.

It would be easy to write off C.I.A. involvement in the drug trade as a Cold War aberration, but that would be a mistake. David MacMichael, a former CIA analyst once said, "Drugs and covert operations go together like fleas on a dog." And any cursory glance at Mad Cow Morning News or Parry's Consortium site tells a different story.

Consider, for example, the case of Vladimiro Montesinos, a shadowy figure rarely seen in public, who for many years was the CIA's principal point man in Peru and a lynchpin in the U.S. government's $17.7 billion war on drugs. Trained as a cadet at the School of the Americas, a notorious breeding ground for assassins, Montesinos became head of the Peruvian intelligence service, SIN, in the early 1990s.

During the decade that his leadership of Peru's spy agency won U.S. praise and support, Montesinos built a billion-dollar criminal empire based on drug trafficking, arms dealing, and judicial and political corruption, according to Peruvian parliamentary investigators.

Several recently captured cocaine barons claimed they had been paying Montesinos a monthly fee to let them operate. "The groups that reached an agreement with Montesinos's men could be sure that their competitors would be eliminated," explained Roger Rumrill, an expert on the Peruvian drug trade.

What's more, according to Peruvian prosecutors, Montesinos used drug profits to finance death squads, which were responsible for torture, extra-judicial executions, and the disappearance of 4,000 government opponents. By choosing Montesinos as its main ally in Peru, the CIA turned a blind eye to human rights abuses as well as his involvement in the drug trade.

Eventually, his CIA handlers wised up and realized that Montesinos had been taking them for a ride. They cut him loose in August 2000 after disclosures that the Peruvian spymaster had betrayed his patrons in Langley, Virginia, by selling arms to leftist guerrillas in neighboring Colombia.

Montesinos is currently a fugitive from justice, and the so-called war on drugs continues to provide a thinly veiled cover for U.S.-backed counterinsurgency in Colombia.

Back in 2001, President Bush declared a War on Terror while leaving out the inconvenient fact that the US has, over the years, quite liberally wielded terror for its own ends. The same selective memory permeates the rhetoric of the drug war. Folk like Bill O'Reilly call for deployment of the National Guard to our borders, while context-less news stories of bloody slaughters help fan the drug hysteria. All of this done without once mentioning the inconvenient fact that the US often dabbles in drug dealing.

At what point does cognitive dissonance unravel? In Leon Festinger's book, When Prophecy Fails, belief was, for some odd reason, initially reaffirmed by the failed prophecy of the group's leaders. But, over time, belief collapsed under the weight of contrary evidence. We aren't so lucky here in the US of A. Failed prophecies & inconvenient truths can be endlessly reshuffled & repackaged thanks to our monstrously large propaganda industry. Given new faces, & new names, these stories can be easily resold to an increasingly credulous & illiterate population who seem incapable of recognizing their similarities & internal inconsistencies. Awash in a sea of disinformation, misinformation, & outright lies, our cognitive dissonance has thrived quite nicely. I see little reason to believe that will undergo any appreciable change in the near future.

Don't Bicker, Just Laugh

This new TV show was being pushed quite heavily this weekend.

I was a bit taken aback at first, but I suppose I shouldn't be so naive.

I'm envisioning at least 2 spin off possibilities that should give ample opportunity for much guffawing & tittering.

1. Unemployed: Where we follow the wacky adventures of a formerly well paid middle manager as he navigates the maze of unemployment benefits while growing accustomed to life as a McD's drive thru server.

2. Homeless: Which follows the same middle manager's descent into humor Hell. The season opener will show him as the pressure of dissolution causes him to snap and he begins delivering violent anti-corporate tirades through the soap box of his drive thru microphone.

Customer: "Hi. Yeah, I'd like a double cheeseburger, fries, a large shake and..."

Our hero: "Fuck you."

Customer; "Excuse me, it sounded like you said fu..."

Our hero: "You heard me you capitalist shill feeding at the bloated tittie of a dysfunctional & unsustainable society, shoveling masses of cheap flavored gristle into your voracious maw. You & your tubby overfed belly is little more than a metaphor for our tubby overfed society."

Customer: "Look buddy, I just want a cheesebur..."

Our hero: "Want, want, want, that's all you motherfuckers have are more & more wants, isn't it? You sicken me, you pus filled wanker. I'll give you a goddamn cheeseburger. Just give me a minute to scrape some of my ass cheese onto your burger, and I'll be out to ram it down your piggly wiggly American throat...."

The manager: "Bob, what are you doing with that cheeseburger, & why are your pants down?"

Our hero: "Fuck off ya little turd. I have a cheeseburger to deliver to little Mr. whiner-boy. Then I've got something special for you ya pussified little punk. As a matter of fact I have a whole clip of special somethings for you...."

Our hero exits.

The manager: "Helen, call the police. Bob is being a very very very bad boy."

Our hero, brandishing a 9 mm & a skid mark encrusted hamburger, approaches his customer.

Our hero: "C'mere bitch. It's time to put your feed bag on."

At this point, 4 police cruisers enter lot &, after more guffaw inducing banter, Bob is dutifully tazered & bustled off to the nearest mental ward.
Bob's physical twitching & high pitched keening wail is found to be a particular audience favorite which finds a permanent home on UTube.

Bob's stay in Ward 9 is mercifully cut short due to his utter lack of medical insurance, and the public health system's utter lack of funding.

Subsequent episodes follow him as he wanders the streets muttering unintelligible harangues at passers-by while weeing in his pants or digging half rotted food out of dumpster bins.
Eventually, Bob is reduced to such a state of laugh inducing despair that he wanders in front of an approaching semi, and is crushed under its wheels.
The logo on the truck's side is, quite amusingly, the same as Bob's old company.
When this is shown the studio audience laughs until they wet themselves en masse.

Thanks For The Memories

That's Brice Taylor, author of "Thanks For The Memories," a book I'd characterize as...well, as completely potty. In it, Taylor details her exploits as a mind controlled by the US government. What makes her story sound the pottiest, is her allegation that one of her "owners" was this guy:

As a child of the 60s, Bob Hope was like my sprightly TV uncle, always around on holidays, making me laugh.
So, Brice was a bit hard to swallow.

But that's the insidious nature of those cathode ray "influencing machines," isn't it?
Watch it long enough, & its altered reality becomes consensus reality.

I mention this, because I just finished Jim Hogshire's book, Grossed Out Surgeon Vomits Inside Patient! An Insider's Look At Supermarket Tabloids and it has this little tidbit of Hope lore presented off handedly, as little more than an interesting anecdote:

"An editor told me he once uncovered information that Bob Hope was having sex with Miss World. Reporting this, however, "would have been like setting fire to Santa Claus. You run a story like that and you lose $100,000 copies.""

Does this mean that I believe Brice?

Not exactly.

It just means that I know absolutely nothing about Leslie Townes Hope.
Nothing but ephemera & illusion.
Which makes anything possible.

Which brings me, quite awkwardly, to a new feature that I plan on running 3 or 4 times every bicentennial, called

"I'm Not Just Any Mongrel Bitch, I'm A Mongrel Faggot!!!"

From the ever contentious Wayne Madsen:

President Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel are lifetime members of the same gay bath house in uptown Chicago, according to informed sources in Chicago’s gay community, as well as veteran political sources in the city.

The bath house, Man’s Country, caters to older white men and it has been in business for some 30 years and is known as one of uptown Chicago’s “grand old bathhouses.” WMR was told by sources who are familiar with the bath house that it provides one-year “lifetime” memberships to paying customers and that the club’s computerized files and pre-computer paper files, include membership information for both Obama and Emanuel. The data is as anonymized as possible for confidentiality purposes. However, sources close to “Man’s Country” believe the U.S. Secret Service has purged the computer and filing cabinet files of the membership data on Obama and Emanuel.

Members of Man’s Country are also issued club identification cards. WMR learned that Obama and Emanuel possessed the ID cards, which were required for entry.

Obama began frequenting Man’s Country in the mid-1990s, during the time he transitioned from a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School to his election as an Illinois State Senator in 1996. Emanuel, reportedly joined Man’s Country after he left the Clinton White Hosue and moved back to Chicago in 1998, joining the investment firm of Wasserstein Perella and maintaining his membership during his 2002 campaign for the U.S. 5th District House seat vacated by Rod Blagojevich, who was elected governor.

Man’s Country appears to be a “one stop shopping” center for gay men. The club’s website advertises steam rooms, “fantasy rooms,” bed rooms, male strippers, adult movies, and lockers.

However, Man’s Country was not the only location for Obama’s predatory gay sex activities. The Chicago gay community is aware that Obama often made contacts with younger men at his famous “pick-up basketball” games. It was at these “pick up” matches where Obama first met Emanuel and a young Democratic campaign worker and senior bank vice president named Alexi Giannoulias. Currently running for Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat now occupied by Roland Burris, Giannoulias successfully ran for Illinois Treasurer in 2006 after being drafted for the run by Chicago’s Democratic machine.

The Blagojevich trial: “Sex, Lies, and Audio tapes” — Fitzgerald’s US Attorney’s Office part of White House cover-up of gay sex in the Second City

Giannoulias was a vice president and senior loan officer for his father’s bank, Broadway Bank, from 2002 to 2006. Broadway Bank made real estate loans to Antoin “Tony” Rezko, the chief of Rezmar Corporation. On May 13, 2008, Rezko was found guilty, after being indicted by a grand jury at the behest of the U.S. Attorney for Northern Illinois Patrick J. Fitzgerald, of six counts of wire fraud, six counts of mail fraud, two counts of corrupt solicitation, and two counts of money laundering. Rezko has been in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center at Van Buren and Clark in Chicago since June 2008. However, Rezko has not yet been officially sentenced to a federal prison. A Syrian-American, Rezko is considered to be a flight risk, even though his one-time fortune of $50 million has been reduced to zero.

One Republican politician in Chicago told WMR that Rezko will be a prime witness for Blagojevich’s defense. “Figure it this way, Rezko’s been in solitary confinement in the city jail since June 0f 2008 . . . if he is released to appear at Blagojevich’s trial as the primary witness, everyone expects him to squeal like a pig,” said the Republican politico.

In 2005, Rezko reportedly engaged in a complicated real estate “flip” through which his wife Rita and Obama agreed to split an empty lot adjoining a home that Obama bought in Chicago’s Kenwood district. The deal saw Obama buy the home for $1.65 million, which was $300,00 below market value. Obama then bought a strip of the adjoining property from Mrs. Rezko, a speculative deal that stood to make Obama a handsome profit. Since Rezko’s conviction, the property has has reportedly gone into bankruptcy. Giannoulias’s Broadway Bank was seized by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation on April 23, 2010, reportedly as Secretary of Treasury Tim Geithner was on his way to Chicago to present the bank with a bailout check. Geithner quickly changed his plans.

Giannoulias, Broadway’s then-senior loan officer, has denied being involved in the decision to loan money to Rezko.

Last month, Blagojevich’s trial judge, U.S. District Court judge James Zagel, a crony of former Illinois Republican Governor Jim Thompson, ruled that all 500 hours of phone calls intercepted and taped by Fitzgerald could not be played during Blagojevich’s trial as demanded by Blagojevich and his defense lawyers. Blagojevich demanded that Fitzgerald “show up in court and explain to everybody . . . why you don’t want those tapes that you made played in court.”

WMR has learned that the tapes may contain salty references Obama’s and Emanuel’s private lives.

WMR attempted to interview Blagojevich’s senior defense lawyer Sam Adam to no avail but other informed sources told us that the tapes, if played, would highlight the corruption of not only Obama, Emanuel, and other member of Obama’s Chicago “brain trust” but also Fitzgerald himself. WMR was told that Fitzgerald’s tactics have included providing sex and drugs to imprisoned felons to get them to provide perjured testimony at federal trials.

It is exactly the type of federal prosecutorial misconduct by Fitzgerald that former Republican Governor said was used by state prosecutors when he commuted the death sentences of Illinois’s death row population. Ryan was indicted by Fitzgerald for fraud and he is currently serving out a federal prison sentence.

Blagojevich’s trial is scheduled to begin on June 3 and Fitzgerald’s main interest is to keep the trial focused on Blagojevich, especially after he managed to “flip” Blagojevich’s former chief of staff John Harris to testify against the impeached and ousted governor. WMR learned from informed sources that one lawyer on Harris’s defense team is involved in a gay partner scandal that was discovered by the attorney’s wife.

Some of the wiretaps may reveal that it was not Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s longtime friend and current White House policy adviser who was Obama’s top candidate to fill his U.S. Senate seat, but the young 32-year old “pick up basketball” friend of Obama, Giannoulias, then serving his second year as state Treasurer. However, Obama has avoided campaigning for Giannoulias in Illinois and there are indications that the president has “thrown Giannoulias under the bus,” according to some Democratic political circles in Chicago.

Mutiple Chicago sources report that Republicans who see Giannoulias’s Obama connections as providing an edge in his Senate race this year should not celebrate prematurely. Giannoulias’s GOP opponent, U.S. Representative Mark Kirk, a Naval Reserve intelligence officer, has also been identified as a closeted gay man. Kirk divorced his wife last year after an eight-year marriage. They had no children.

In addition, U.S. Representative Aaron Shock, who took over the House seat vacated by Obama’s Republican Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, is, according to Chicago Boy’s Town sources, a habitué of Minibar, a noted gay bar in Chicago’s gay district. For an extremely young first term member of the House, observers were surprised when GOP Minority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia named Shock as a Deputy Minority Whip.

Man’s Country, one of Chicago’s “grand old bathhouses” and located at 5015 North Clark Street in Chicago’s “Boystown,” was a frequent hangout for State Senator Obama and Rahm Emanuel

Sources in Chicago’s gay community report that Obama was attracted to Man’s Country’s older white clientele because he generally enjoys being fellated by older white men. Obama would regularly be seen at Man’s Country on Wednesdays.

Obama reportedly has never engaged in reciprocal activity. The sources also confirm the allegations made during the 2008 campaign by Larry Sinclair, a Chicago visitor who revealed that in 1999 he engaged in such oral sex activity and crack cocaine use with then-State senator Obama on two occasions, once in the back of a Chicago limousine operated by Five Star Limousine Service, and the other at a Chicago area motel, the Comfort Suites in Gurnee, Illinois.

After revealing details of the encounter at a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, Sinclair was arrested by Washington Metropolitan Police on a fugitive warrant issued by Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, the son of Obama’s vice presidential running mate, Senator Joe Biden. Sinclair was charged with a misdemeanor count of theft of money orders, however, the state of Delaware declined prosecution. Beau Biden later declined to run for his father’s old Senate seat because of his duties to prosecute a major pedophilia case involving Lewes, Delaware pediatrician Dr. Earl Bradley. There are reports that Biden’s office helped to cover up Bradley’s activities, including failing to authorize search warants for Bradley’s office and computer.

Chicago’s “DLC” — not the Democratic Leadership Council but the “Down Low Club” — a gay matchmaking service

WMR spoke to several well-placed sources in Chicago who reported that Jeremiah Wright, the pastor of Obama’s former church of 20 years, Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) on Chicago’s south side, ran what was essentially a matchmaking service for gay married black professional members of the church, including lawyers and businessmen, particularly those with children. The matchmaking club was called the “Down Low Club” but references to it over the phone and email simply referred to the group with the code phrase “DLC.” The ruse, according to our sources, was to make anyone who was eavesdropping on the communications believe that the references were to the Democratic Leadership Council, also known as the DLC.

The gay DLC’s services were intended to keep ensure TUCC’s gay members avoided posting solicitations on web services like Craig’s List and refrain from cruising gay bars. The strategy was to protect them from getting busted and being “outed.”

Among the members of the gay “DLC” were Obama and TUCC’s choir director, Donald Young, an openly gay man who reportedly had a sexual relationship with Obama. Two other gay members of the church were Larry Bland and Nate Spencer. Young and Bland were brutally murdered, execution style, in late 2007. Bland was murdered on November 17, 2007 and Young on December 24, 2007. The latter was killed by multiple gunshot wounds. Spencer reportedly died on December 26, 2007, official cause of death: “septicemia, pneumonia, and HIV.”

“DLC” members often went on camping trips arranged by TUCC. Wright reportedly was the head of the “DLC” matchmaking services and ensured that its members protected each other.

The “DLC’s” clientele included Obama and other gay members of TUCC, including, reportedly Young, Bland, and Spencer. Fox 32 Chicago reported that Bland’s mother, Josephine Bland, was so upset at her son inviting men into their home as a result of contacting them through gay web sites like “Adam4Adam,” she moved out.

The gay community in Chicago knows to keep away from the TUCC and “DLC” stories because of the “creepiness” of the operation and the suspicious deaths of the three TUCC gay black men.

Although Obama protected his alternate life style through the secretiveness of the “DLC,” he was not so careful when he proclaimed he was a state senator while frolicking at Man’s Country in uptown Chicago.

Love: Obama’s personal trainer

Reggie Love, a former Duke basketball and football player and unsuccessful National Basketball hopeful, currently serves as Obama’s personal trainer and White House “special assistant” — he has been called Obama’s “body man” — who receives a salary of $104,000 a year. Love is also reportedly one of Obama’s regular gay sex partners. Love joined Obama’s Senate staff in a senior staff position in 2006.

Media General’s tabloid, the National Enquirer, proffered a story last year about Michelle Obama being furious about the relationship between her husband and his “body man.” TheEnquirer’s sister tabloid, The Globe, later floated a story about Obama having a relationship with a Democratic campaign official named Vera Baker. WMR has been told that this relationship was a clever ruse to throw off speculation about Obama’s actual past sex partners. Baker has apparently left the United States for relatively more obscurity in Martinique. Media General’s tabloids have scooped the mainstream media on sex scandals involving Bill Clinton and Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewinsky, Tiger Woods, and John Edwards and Rielle Hunter.

WMR’s Chicago sources believe the Secret Service records of presidential candidate Obama’s activities in Chicago would show that Obama regularly arrived at Love’s Chicago residence at 9:00 am and departed at 9:15 am. Sources told WMR that while 15 minutes is much too short for a personal training exercise, it is ample time for fellatio.

Bill Frist, “Brokeback Mountain,” and Obama

In 2006, after Obama became the junior senator from Illinois, WMR’s sources in the Congressional Black Caucus reported that there were persistent rumors of gay trysts between Obama and then-GOP Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist of Tennessee. The allegations at the time seemed unbelievable.

However, based on Obama’s penchant for receiving fellatio from older white men, a column written by The Washington Post’s “In the Loop” columnist Al Kamen on April 7, 2006, some four months into Obama’s Senate term, may have expanded relevance. Kamen reported he received an invitation to attend Frist’s “5th Annual VOLPAC ’06 Weekend” in Nashville from April 21st to 23rd and that the invitation card required one to “unbuckle the cowboy’s pants and look inside to see what this was all about.” Kamen opined that the invitation seemed “a bit too ‘Brokeback Mountain.’”

The invitation advertised that the shindig would feature “one-of-a-kind music and special friends,” although Kamen said there was no indication what made the “friends” so “special.” Kamen then wrote, “The back of the card shows the cowboy from behind with a red flowered handkerchief sticking out of his right pocket. Wait a minute — wasn’t there something about how this used to be some kind of code in the gay community years ago? A way to signal each other in crowded, noisy bars? So we checked the GayCityUSA.com’s Hanky Codes. Sure enough, there it was in the chart explaining what they mean: red hanky in right pocket. Oh, dear.”

Rumors about Obama and Frist ran amok in Congressional Black Caucus circles in 2006.

Although Frist ran on the pledge of only serving two terms, he became Senate Majority Leader with all the perks of the office. WMR’s sources in Chicago’s gay community revealed that Frist’s Majority Leader predecessor, Senator Trent Lott of Mississippi, was also known to seek the services of male prostitutes. Frist, who said he planned to run for President in 2006, decided against a run for the White House and also declined a run for Tennessee governor in 2010.

With the rumor mill running at full speed in 2006, it is obvious why Frist abandoned politics so quickly for the medical business. Frist later endorsed Obama’s health care proposals. A year later, when GOP Senator Larry Craig was arrested while soliciting for sex in a men’s toilet stall at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, he changed his mind about immediately resigning his Senate seat. Knowing about his colleagues’ behavior, he dug in his heels and completed his term in January 2009.

Rahm the “Sugar Daddy”

Obama’s chief of staff Emanuel, who won a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet but turned it down to attend college, is married and, like Obama, has children, in Emanuel’s case, a son and two daughters.

However, Emanuel, who is 50, also travel frequently with a male companion, a wealthy Chicago real estate developer, some five to six years his senior. WMR has learned from Chicago’s gay community as well as political sources that Emanuel and his friend have gone together on a trip to India, skiing vacations, and soon plan a vacation in Florida, sans Mrs. Emanuel and the kids.

In Chicago’s gay community, Emanuel is known as “sugar daddy,” promising young men with perks and lucrative positions if they sleep with him. On occasion, Emanuel has been with older men, such as his travel companion, but his preference is young, according to WMR’s sources. Emanuel also often uses bicycling and basketball venues to make his approaches. Being an Emanuel “basketball buddy” is a key to professional success.

WMR spoke to one member of the gay community in Chicago who had first hand knowledge of one of Emanuel’s bed partners, an older man who runs a non-profit symphony organization.

Obama’s other sex partners

WMR has previously reported on Obama’s past trysts with Alabama Democratic U.S. Representative Artur Davis, a current primary candidate for governor of Alabama. Although not in the same class, Obama and Davis attended Harvard Law School during an overlap of their attendance at the law school.

The information on Davis and Obama was gathered by opposition researchers for former Alabama Representative Earl Hilliard, who Davis defeated in the 2002 Democratic primary. Recently, WMR was informed by sources in Alabama that Attorney General Eric Holder traveled three days ago to Alabama to inform Davis that if he loses his primary race, he would be nominated by Obama to fill the job of U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama, a position still held by Bush-appointee Leura Canary, one of the main prosecutors of convicted and jailed former Alabama Democratic Governor Don Siegelman.

Chicago sources also informed WMR of another past gay partner of Obama, Massachusetts Democratic Governor Deval Patrick.
Men who have reportedly had sexual relations with Barack Obama

* Donald Young, TUCC Choir director
* Larry Sinclair, gay escort
* Reggie Love, White House presidential assistant and Obama’s “body man”
* Artur Davis, US Representative from Alabama and gubernatorial candidate
* Bill Frist, former GOP Senate Majority Leader
* Deval Patrick, Governor of Massachusetts

The Clear and Present Blackmail Threat

Leading secret alternate life styles, Obama and his chief of staff provide classic blackmail threats. Considering Obama’s choice for the Supreme Court, Elena Kagan, who is reputedly a semi-open lesbian, the question must be posed how much Obama’s and Emanuel’s own covert life styles led to the decision to nominate Kagan, someone with no experience on a judicial bench. Similarly, the fact that so much is known about Obama’s and Emanuel’s trysts in Chicago begs another important question. If politicians, gay community activists, and journalists in the Windy City are aware of Obama’s and Emanuel’s highly blackmailable gay life styles, the same can certainly hold true for the executives of one of Chicago’s corporate headquarters — that of BP America’s Production Operations.

Throw in the intelligence agencies of America’s allies, friends, enemies, and the situation becomes a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States.

I really don't know what to make of that one. I post it in its entirety because one website has already been forced to remove it. It deserves to exist somewhere, even if its just in a shady dive like this one. Ultimately, if Obama is living life as a closeted gay president, I find that I really don't give a fuck.

What does give it some credence is this:

Yep, it's a tabloid. & we're back to Hogshire's book where he insists, quite vociferously, that tabloids pass every story like this through a team of lawyers, who remove anything that could be construed as libelous.

Hogshire's book is not a fawning screed by a tabloid defender. He is quite thorough in detailing the intelligence connections to the tabloids, most notably Generoso Pope, former owner of The National Enquirer, who sponsored many expensive fact finding missions to political hot spots like Uganda under Idi Amin. Fact finding missions that, mysteriously, seemed to never produce a story.

So, your guess is as good as mine.

Plus Ca Change, Plus C'est La Même Chose

Hey Shrub, this just popped into my insomnia riddled brain & it is so glaringly obvious that I could kick myself for not thinking of it earlier. I'm putting it here cause it's my blog & I'll do it if'n I wanna. I'm doing that instead of posting at RI since the Dazzler was gracious enough to accept my offer to stand down.

Check it out:

First we have Miss Goldson from 2010:

"The majority of students are put through the same brainwashing techniques in order to create a complacent labor force working in the interests of large corporations and secretive government, and worst of all, they are completely unaware of it."

Then we have a bit of J. Dazzling's spirited defense of Miss Goldson's honor:

"She knows that the education system isn't going to change over night just because she spoke out, but she did it anyway, and it's gotten a lot of attention, and I would venture to say that it's gotten a lot of people to think about our school system in a different way. That's a good thing."

Then we have this little gem from a band I know is dear to your heart Shrub, from all the way back in the Dark Ages of 1979:

Do you remember how insanely popular that album was back in the day Shrub?
How many drunken teen parties were played out around the world that featured a "we don't need no education" sing-a-long every time that song came on the radio?

It made it to #3 in the UK & #1 in Australia, Austria, France, The Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand and, wonder of wonders, the US of A. It has sold, in the US alone, nearly 17 million copies since its release.

That would be, if my math is correct, a few months shy of 31 years ago. All those kids who sang that song or sat up huffing hookah while obsessively re-listening to that album over and over, finding endless meaning in its lyrics, are now the adults responsible for our current fucked up school system.
Kind of ironic, isn't it?

Yep. I can see how a teenager on UTube will finally be the spark that ignites change.
You can see that too can't ya?

I suppose the eternally hopeful should be given some points for their tenacity, but really, there are limits.

Trailers, Dumpsters & Air Conditioners Oh My....

It is a gloriously cool August night here in the HOME OF THE FREE & THE LAND OF THE BRAVE. At times I almost feel like bursting into song just because Americans are so fucking cool & I'm so American & it is so fucking cool to be American.

Shit, I can't resist...

Man, that felt good. How do those lyrics go?

"21 guns, a box made of pine,
A letter from the government sealed & signed
Delivered Federal Express
On your mother's doorstep"

Hey, wait a minute.
These Clutch bastards seem to be casting aspersions on the good ol' US of A & its glorious (I love that word) war effort.

Shit, what do these liberal fucks want anyway?

Not only are we pulling out of Iraq but we're kind enough to leave them a bushel full of our neat consumer goodies.

FALLUJAH, Iraq — The remnants of the US occupation of Iraq are being sold to the highest bidders in yard sales across the country.

The outskirts of cities like Baghdad, Fallujah, and Ramadi — once bastions of the Sunni insurgency — are now destinations for bargain hunters interested in items such as generators and trailers. As the US military draws down to 50,000 troops by the end of the summer, the junk left behind is quickly becoming part of the Iraqi landscape.

Just outside Fallujah, Iraqi merchants Mohammed Issawi and Abu Saif sat recently on plastic chairs in the blistering sun. Broken generators, trailers, dumpsters, and air conditioners graced the dirt lot behind them. Some of the items were emblazoned with the red, white, and blue flag of the United States.

After all that the US occupation has taken from Iraq, Issawi said, Iraqis deserve to get something back.

“These are our things,’’ he said. “They took these things from us, and now we are selling them back. They occupied our country by force.’’

Families buy $1,000 trailers once fashioned into sleeping quarters for soldiers and Marines. Base latrines have become cheaper alternatives to traditional dwellings made of brick and concrete. Air-conditioner units and large generators that can stave off Iraq’s blistering summers are sold at half-price.

Merchants say they come across the goods in different ways. Some was found, some was stolen, and some was sold to them. Much of it, they say, was just given away.

At his auction outside Balad, north of Baghdad, Ahmed Adnan showed off a hodgepodge of merchandise. He sells blast walls to the provincial government in northern Iraq’s Nineveh province, where explosions remain a threat. Civilians can buy items such as iPods and laptops.

See that? There isn't anything more American than a flea market or a yard sale, is there?
These people are learning the simple joys of capitalism. Plain & simple.
These days, Americans seem to be staging flea markets everywhere.

Despite tough economic times, many flea markets are in boom times.

That's because flea markets carry increased cache during such downturns, said Mark Blakewood, executive director of the National Flea Market Association. "Consumers are looking for ways to maximize their spending dollar. The industry as a whole has seen increased traffic flow."

There are an estimated 2,500 flea markets in the United States, and the number is growing.

"People want to earn money any way possible," Blakewood said. "Just like the phrase says, 'One man's junk is another man's treasure.'"

"One man's junk is another man's treasure."

Did y'all here that?
Not only did we free the Iraqis from the oppressive yoke of a big stinky bad guy, but we gave them "treasure" too. How cool is that?

Let me answer that: it's American cool baby.

Not only that, but, in our tried & true method of leading by example, our glorious (oh yeah) invasion of Iraq has also inspired many of those poor heathens to seek out the mother lode of all mother lodes: The United States of America.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Ahmed is desperate to get out of Baghdad, after Islamists threatened to kill him or his children because he worked for Western media after the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Like thousands of others, he hopes to land a U.S. refugee visa to escape bombings, shootings and death threats in his homeland.

"Fundamentalists told me over the phone: if you don't quit work we will either kill you or one of your children," said Ahmed, a father of a son and two daughters who said he was afraid to give his full name.

The journalist hopes to join over 4.7 million Iraqis who have left their homes since 2003, in what the United Nations refugee agency, the UNHCR, calls the worst humanitarian crisis in the Middle East since 1948. Some 700,000 people, half the Arab population of Palestine in May 1948, fled or were forced to flee from their homes after Israel was created.

Violence has ebbed in Iraq since the height of sectarian warfare in 2006-07 but bombings and shootings still occur regularly. The number of civilian deaths from violence almost doubled in July compared to June, according to government figures.

Not all Iraqis flee abroad. Half of the 4.7 million displaced persons took refuge in other parts of Iraq, some squatting in public buildings, according to the UNHCR.

Ahmed hoped for better when he returned to Iraq after finishing a year as a visiting teacher in the United States in 2008. His dreams were quickly dashed.

"The security breaches turned from car bombs and roadside bombs into silenced guns, assassinations, zero services, no water, no power," he said. "I am concerned about my children's safety when they go to school."

Obviously a bunch of left leaning Iraqi whiners.
Let's see if we can find someone who appreciates the red white & blue...

"I couldn't believe that I was going to the States and that my dream was coming true," said Basheer Rasheed Mahmoud, who works as a cameraman for CNN, the U.S. cable news channel.

"But all these feelings turned around when the plane landed in New York airport. Reality is not like what I see in movies or what I hear from friends. It was a state of alienation. I was astray, feeling choked," he said.

Mahmoud, 22, had applied for a U.S. visa after getting death threats from al Qaeda. Disappointment set in after two months in Texas.

"The culture, community, life, all is different to my country," Mahmoud said. "I met some Iraqi friends who tried to lure me to stay but I just couldn't.

Fuck, another whiner.
"A state of alienation" he says?
Well Hadji, that's why we make fucking Prozac, isn't it?

Oh well, I think he'll get the point eventually. Someday he may be medicated enough...ooops...meditative enough to even thank us.

LONDON -- Saddam Hussein's leading lieutenant accused the United States of abandoning Iraq and leaving the country to die, according to a British newspaper interview to be published Friday.

Tariq Aziz, whose long tenure as Saddam's foreign minister made him the international face of the Iraqi dictator's regime, was quoted by The Guardian newspaper as saying that he was hopeful about President Barack Obama at first.

"I thought he was going to correct some of the mistakes of Bush," the paper quoted Aziz as saying from his jail cell in north Baghdad. "But Obama is a hypocrite. He is leaving Iraq to the wolves."

The Guardian said that Aziz slammed the planned withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country, saying that both America and the United Kingdom had an obligation to make sure Iraq was back on its feet before exiting.

"We are all victims of America and Britain," Aziz said, according to the paper. "They killed our country in many ways. When you make a mistake you need to correct a mistake, not leave Iraq to its death."

Aziz, who was handed over to Iraqi authorities by the United States several months ago, refused to condemn his former boss, who was executed in December 2006.

"If I speak now about regrets, people will view me as an opportunist," he told the paper. "When I am free and can write the truth."

He used to watch over the little baby dinosaurs
Now he keeps his eye on America.

"No Teeths Depresses People"

You've probably seen this guy on the Stephen Colbert show. His name's Basil Marceaux or, as he likes to be known, BasilMarceaux.com.
When I first saw Stewart ripping on this guy, I felt bad for him. Here was someone who struck me as the epitome of mid-American mainstream lunacy. Just an ordinary clueless American who, at heart, probably means well. Using the Stephen Colbert Show to belittle this guy seemed a bit like duck hunting with a cruise missile.

Then I went to Basil's website & became enthralled with the pure poetry that is Basil Marceaux.com. As someone who prefers Henry Darger over Andy Warhol, I think this guy has entirely missed his true calling as a folk artist.

Here's some of Basil's pure verbal genius:

VOTE FOR ME AND IF I WIN I WILL IMMUNE YOU FROM ALL STATE CRIMES FOR THE REST OF YOU LIFE!

I , Basil Marceaux argue why does a marine go to Leavenworth when they breaks their oath, and when civilian breaks their oath they are all immumed, does that sound like justice?

4. My friends a beer stores say they must check 200 D/L a day that 400 minutes a day per clerk which is over 6 hours at $ 7.00 a hour that $ 42.00, with it mandatory then we must pay them.

Fix the Flag at Mill Park to fly right at a high cost of 12 stun by stun gun and now it fly right thank to 311.

See why dental is not in most plans a tooth aches hurt more than a back aches and no teeths depresses people

See what I mean? William Burroughs and a hundred hats filled with chopped newspapers couldn't create text this captivating.
There is so much more at Basil's website, from links that go nowhere to court case transcripts that read like the Surrealist Manifesto.

&, as a fitting cap on Basil's promise to the people, he says,

WHAT IMPORTANT:
1.Education

Education ,let us put phonics back in school if you can not read you can not do History, Math, English. And that where we are now.

Can I get an amen?

Can I get a hallelujah?

I send pictures through the mail
Well documented and very detailed
To politicians and big celebrities,
But none of them are believing in me
And I await their response
Some send none, most send cops
But man it's a dire situation
And I will risk the public humiliation

Sleestak lightning on my trail
It's a dire situation, they are on my trail

West Virginia has its Moth Man,
Pan handlers' got their Skunk Ape.
But I have a tazer and night vision goggles,
Costco rolls of black duct tape.
It's got red eyes, it's got razor claws,
It's got green skin, no it ain't a meth-head.
And after studying its behavior, objectively and critically,
I believe I have a reliable method.
