Speaks For Itself

This fascinating animation by Isao Hashimoto demonstrates the geographic spread, and frequency, of the 2053 known nuclear detonations around the globe since 1945, beginning with America’s Manhattan Project and ending in India and Pakistan – North Korea’s 2006 and 2009 tests are not currently included.

Adam Bomb got you thinking about the Atom Bomb, eh?

Yeah, I've seen this one. We're drinking, breathing and eating the fall-out from that shit. No wonder females are having their periods at five years old.

I think you will appreciate this.

The deliberate use of manmade ionizing radiation is an assault upon people, the environment, and all living things. Since the first Plutonium and Uranium nuclear bomb was exploded in New Mexico on July 16, 1945, the continuous contamination of the United States and the rest of the world is like something out of a very bad dream... a dream from which we can not seem to awaken.....

While Nuclear-Everything is being pushed on America as a "clean" energy alternative sanctified under the guise of reduced carbon emissions, consider if you will just a few effects of ionizing radiation: decreasing fertility rates, miscarriages, genetic mutations, increasing rates of cancers, some forms of heart disease, neuromuscular disease, and thyroid disease, diabetes, and other endocrine-related disorders and many other radiation-induced diseases.

Indeed, if those in power were deliberately trying to destroy the future of life as we know it, they could not possibly have chosen a better method than the continuous, obscene use of ionizing radiation in the environment.

Speaking of eating, did you see that the US has hit the 70% overweight/obese mark?

Do you think this is some subliminal species survival strategy where the populace beefs up today to survive tomorrow's scarcity?

Or are we just lazy, gluttonous pork chops with voracious maws and bottomless appetites?

I'll take the latter for $1,500, Alex.

That fat's not going to help what's coming. You'll need a hard, durable exoskeleton for that, not a jello suit.

I don't know Shrub, fleshy bubble wrap seems like a pretty efficient cushion.

Of course, it makes running from skinny cannibals a bit difficult, but maybe they could barter the outer layers of meat for safe passage.

Then again, cannibals are notoriously untrustworthy.

Richard, do you have a back-up plan in case this blog goes under attack? You should have a back-up plan. I mean, what would we do? Sure, we could go live our lives, but what good is that? That's no remedy. We must have some place to go in case your blog goes down. Let's work out a plan.

I don't know Shrub, RI seems to be the place where the Internet homeless congregate when the landlord nails an eviction notice to the clubhouse door.

Just think, we can always talk to the SPAM™ until someone shows up.

No, I haven't seen The Road.

I did see The Book Of Eli though.

It sucked.

At best, it was a 1/2 hour Twilight Zone episode padded to feature length.

Concentration camps eh? I don't know, maybe the Jews that survived started their stay there as fat folk. Maybe the skinny ones keeled over first.

I know you saw The Case Of The Exploding Neighborhood playing on your local Infotainment Broadcast.

I quite enjoyed the follow-up story that appeared yesterday where we were informed that 80% of America sits over natural gas lines that are as decrepit & antiquated as the ruptured line that took out that city block.

Oh well, one more thing to add to the national shopping list, eh?

Too bad the credit cards are maxxed out.

Of course, there's always prayer.

Believe it, or not, I don't watch or listen to MSM anymore, so I didn't catch any of it, Richard. I heard about it off-hand and it's something I have thought about in the past.

It's a nice distraction from the following though, you must admit. The explosions get the adrenaline pumping. Mayhem in the morning. Stories about contaminated water that will cause deferred health problems are boring in comparison.

Of course, that debate is no debate at all. It's Kabuki Theater since fracking the Marcellus Shale for natural gas is a done deal, meaning it's going to happen. They're just feigning a stand for PR purposes. I don't know why they even bother. It's not like the majority even give a shit.

Watch Gasland for background on this whole issue. It affects you....it affects all of us...even BF in New Zealand.
